This text has been prepared by the Atty. Dr. Davut GÜRSES and Atty. Yaman ÇELİK (“Pacta Law”) as the data controller within the scope of the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures to be Complied with in Fulfilling the Obligation of Disclosure with Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”).

Pacta Law undertakes to protect the confidentiality of the information it has obtained about visitors, respecting personal rights and within the framework of this "Clarification Text on Cookies", by keeping the privacy and security of visitor information in the foreground.

1. What is a cookie?

As Pacta Law, we use cookies and some other similar technologies (collectively, "Cookie/Cookies") in order to enable you to benefit from our website efficiently and to improve your user experience.

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser on your computer or other electronic device that are normally used to collect statistical information and to analyze usage trends or access to a web address. In another definition, cookies are text formats in low-size rich text format that allow certain information about users to be stored on users' terminal devices when a web page is visited.

2.1. Session cookies: Session cookies, also called temporary cookies, are used to ensure the continuity of the session. Session Cookies are temporary cookies that are used during visitors' visits to the website and expire after the browser is closed. The main purpose of using such cookies is to ensure that the website functions properly during your visit.


2.2. Permanent cookies: Persistent cookies are types of cookies used to increase the functionality of the website and to provide a faster and better service. Such cookies are used to remember visitors' preferences and are stored on visitors' devices through browsers and continue to exist until a certain date or deleted by the user.

Your personal data may be shared and/or transferred to our service providers where privacy and data protection laws are not sufficiently protective in your jurisdiction. This is only for cases where the provision and provision of the Services to you is mandatory. There are specific obligations under Section V of the GDPR (which we will comply with) to regulate such data transfers and to ensure that adequate security measures are in place to protect and maintain data integrity in case of transfer.

You can submit your requests and complaints regarding your personal data with the information identifying your identity in accordance with Article 13 of the KVKK and Article 5 of the Communiqué on Application Procedures and Principles to the Data Controller, published in the Official Gazette No. 30356 and dated 10.03.2018. You can also send it to the Finance Office, which is the data controller, via info@pactahukuk.com 

You can also send your written applications to Koşuyolu Mahallesi Koşuyolu Caddesi No:12/A Koşuyolu Kadıköy İstanbul address. As a personal data owner, if you submit your requests regarding your rights to the Pacta Law using the methods set out above in this Clarification Text, Pacta Law will conclude the request free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if a fee is stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Board, a fee will be charged.

This Clarification Text was updated on 16/03/2023. In case of changes, the effective date and content will be updated.
